    The Spark Clubs grew from a family history of hospitality, entrepreneurship, real estate and bringing people together.

    What began with a neighborhood nightclub has evolved into cannabis-friendly travel and hospitality, curated experiences, and now a new generation of clubhouses and spaces designed for connection.

    We've been building toward this longer than you know.

Hospitality Is Part of Our History.

Our Dad, Manny Williams, owned a 9,000-square-foot neighborhood nightclub, where Spark Clubs founder Holly DuPart eventually became Operations Manager—learning the business of hospitality from the inside: people, programming, property and operations.

Years later, the property passed down to the next generation.

Today, the former nightclub is being transformed again—this time as the home of GrowthWorks!, a shared cannabis manufacturing campus designed to help entrepreneurs bring products to market.

One property. Two generations.  A completely new purpose.

Before The Spark Clubs had a name, we were exploring new ways to combine cannabis, hospitality, culture and community.Our experiences have included cannabis-focused travel to Amsterdam and Montreal, upscale cannabis-friendly short-term accommodations, infused mocktail parties, cannabis bar experiences, art and conversation programming, and upscale consumption lounges.In 2017, our family operated a cannabis-friendly short-term rental together, earning Airbnb Superhost status and learning something that continues to shape The Spark Clubs:People want more than somewhere to go. The Story Comes Home.


In 1894, architect George Washington Maher designed our house as a home for himself and his family, early in a career that would leave an architectural legacy throughout Chicago.


More than a century later, our family is writing another chapter here.


We're reimagining our home for contemporary living while respecting its architectural history—and transforming it into President's Place, the first permanent home of The Spark Clubs.


A family home becoming a clubhouse.


A historic property finding a new purpose.

The Spark Clubs isn't simply a company our family owns. It's a business we're building together.


Holly, Hkeem, Kyan and Soleil bring different generations, perspectives, skills and talents to the work. Our family's experience spans real estate, project management, hospitality, education, cannabis, technology, creativity and community building.


Our father helped create the foundation—first as an entrepreneur and owner of the commercial property, and today as an investor and part owner in the business being built for the next generation.


We've hosted together. We've worked together. We're renovating together.


Now we're building a Family Legacy Business together.
